My SL dream is own and operate a SL museum examine the different cultures, ranging from the BDSM culture to the fashionistas. The only issue like everything else in this world, is money. How do I make some in order to make this a reality? I already know that my parents would not give the cash to buy land. My business, so far has yet to make any money, though my freebie is flying off the vendors. I’m clueless on how to procure donation money. I refuse to take a business/economic class at school because morally I can’t do it. I’m only 20 and I have yet to make an impact on either world. Yeah. Welcome to a small portion of my brain. There are happy parts, just they didn’t want to wake up today. I woke up at 2 then went back to bed til 5. The night before I didnt eat any dinner because I forgot to and then didn’t want to eat late at night. I also read in the closet after playing a little SL in order to be in charge of how big my immediate world is. On top of all that I have a nice chunky english paper to write tonight, which I have to start soon, or risk being up all night before my second finial test, which is late in the day, but yeah.
And now Im thinking about leaving SL all together because I feel like such a failure in SL, partly because of the business, but it has to do with everything! I’m not a great artist like Mr. Clauvau, not a good blogger like Chloe, not a good picture taker like the people on flickr, im a male playing a female av, which is discremated by a certain SL fashion mag and model company, and so on.

Edit: What a doozy of a post. Sorry, I under a lot of stress right now and I kind of snapped, at least it wasn’t a super large snap that was taken out in another way, no not killing myself, just inflicting physical pain to conterbalance the emotional pain. Don’t get worried, I’m starting to learn how to cope. Luckly a nap was all I needed. So the world looks a little better right now, and Im off to start my English paper that is due in 9 and half hours! Weee!

Im having second thoughts about my business. From the way that my items having been flying off the racks, besides the freebie, Im thinking about closing it. I have to send some samples to the blogs in order to get some publicity, but I don’t know. I have sunk some money into renting, uploading textures and ads, etc. and I just not conviced that I really could sell anything. Part of me thinks it is a quality issue, but then why my first hair would fly off the vendors? Hmm. Maybe I should send everything off to the blogs to see what hits and what misses. I just have the bad feeling that everything is horrible. Also right now Im in the middle of finals and I don’t really have the time to deal with all the details of running a business, heck I barely have time for freebie hunting. Any readers business owners? I could totally use the help with getting my business off the ground!

Eight Random Facts about Adia Clary both in SL and RL:
1. I’m a huge fan of classical music! I love the emotions that can be expressed in each work. I’m also a fan of opera, and I would love to see a Wagner opera in Bravira before I die.
2. I am a student in college right now. Right now my major is Anthropology and I want to purse a Ph. D. The sub-cultures within SL are really intersting and someday I want to write a paper on them. I used to be a theatre design major, but I found out that I hated working backstage and I can’t sew, so I crashed and my mom had to cross the country to help me go back home.
3. I want to open a museam in SL that takes a look at multi-media artists both in SL and in RL.This is the main reason why I want to open a store, because I need the money to open it. Hopefully this will happen!
4. In high school, only graduated two years ago :P, I slept on the floor, because my matress was too lumpy. Now I sleep on an IKEA bed that the slats keep going out, creating back problems.
5. Im from and live in Northern California, where it we basically have two types of weather, sunny and rainy, and I hate it.
6. My RL birthday is coming up on the 10th *hint Paper Couture hint Armidi wink Tete a Pied wink*, when I will finally be a 20 year-old. I hate being young, I want to be at least a couple of years older. Yes, yes, I know “Don’t wish your life away.”
7. Despite all the screen media, I really like to read. Right now Im in my foreign writer’s phase.
8. I don’t drive. I totaled my driver’s training car on the first time out and another care in a headon colision, just three blocks from my house. Airbag deployed, sent three people to the hospital to be checked out, I ended up with a broken thumb, which was the first time I broke anything. Actually, I have the strange desire to wear a cast again.

In shop news, the store is going to be delayed in order for me to finish building the first items up for sale, due to my very stressful schedule, finials are rapidly approaching! Though the shop will be open before Christmas, for any joke/real presents, in which all objects will be transfer only, though the buttons, like the tiny rl buttons, and button texture packs will be only “no copy”, since the normal item will be “no copy, no transfer”
With all the holiday freebies coming out, I will be doing the Best of Holiday Freebies after Xmas!

In the US, on Thrusday, we celebrated thanksgiving by the most American thing we can do! EAT! lol Personally, I don’t really like turkey all that much except for major holidays, but I love food. Normally people get together often with family and/or friends and have a nice night chatting while eating a deep fried turkey, I’m dying to taste it, though not for the deep fried skin, but the tender meat inside! For a lot of people, me excluded, like to watch American football after the meal, and take a nap, this is more my area, there is something in the turkey that makes people sleepy, totally natural too. Anyway the whole day is to remind ourselves of the things we are most thankful about, but the meaning gets lost in all the food, parades, games, and the like. So for this post, I want to list what I’m thankful for this year.
1. Finding and staying in SL. It has helped me soooooooo much through the past couple of months, I can’t even start to tell you guys how lucky and blessed I am to share the virtual and real world with you. This even goes out to the people that I have never met in-world, but post your feelings and passions on your blogs. It really helped me connect with people, even though you are virtual, because I cut myself off from people around me late March, April. I was never happy to be around people and frankly didn’t like and I just wanted to go home. By connecting with you guys out there, I am making contact with people who I like and enjoy, once school started I was able to reconnect with my old friends that I left because of going to school across the country.
2. My family, frankly I don’t if I would be here right now without their support during several rocky months.
3. My friends both in RL and SL. My friends are the best things in my life. They add sugar, spice, everything nice, arm pit hairs, snails, puppy dog tails, rainbows, neko tails, diamonds, penii, there is a story behind this one, and so much more that it would take the universe to mention all the things they add to my life.
4. Sanity

So I was just browsing around different blogs and I came across Robbie Dingo’s Masks, then on the side bar, I saw his video of the build of Starry Night and I had to post the vid here! It is one of those things that you wish you could have visited, but I think that would have taken away from the beauty and purity of the build.
